Dina and Fathi: Two Orphans Facing Illness Alone in Gaza

In a cramped room at Nasser Hospital, a mother, exhausted from waiting, sits between two small beds, gazing at two innocent bodies that are wasting away day by day, fearing she will lose the last of her remaining life. Dina (3 years old) and Fathi (4 years old), two orphans, are waging a fierce battle against a mysterious illness, at a time when they lost their father as a martyr, and Gaza has lost its ability to save its sick.

Before the war, the lives of the two children were no different from other children in Gaza; their growth was normal, and they did not suffer from any health problems. But everything changed after their displacement from Rafah and the martyrdom of their father, beginning a journey of suffering that continues to this day.
