Iranian General Staff: Ready to confront any hostile scenario
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, affirmed on Tuesday that the naval, ground, and missile forces are ready to confront any threat or hostile scenario.
Speaking at a meeting of the Islamic Association of Independent Students at Sharif University, Shekarchi stated that Iran has not surrendered even at the height of tensions and conflicts. He noted that the forces have strengthened their capabilities in recent days and achieved tangible results, according to the Iranian news agency Mehr.
He added, “We have slightly reduced the intensity of our hostility and resorted to soft power tactics, such as propaganda and media, so as not to shatter the hopes of the people.”
The Iranian military commander indicated that much of the mobilization force’s capabilities, as well as those of the naval and ground forces, have not yet been utilized. He emphasized that Iran’s missile force is fully prepared but has not yet been deployed.
