Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office: Prisoner Al-Rifai is Youngest Life Sentencer

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office warned today, Sunday, of a serious deterioration in the health and detention conditions of prisoner Asaad Yousef Asaad Al-Rifai (22 years old) from the town of Rummanah in the Jenin district of the occupied West Bank, he is the youngest prisoner from the Jenin governorate serving a life sentence.

The office explained in a statement seen by the that Al-Rifai, one of nine prisoners from Jenin serving life sentences, has been suffering for about four months from a serious skin disease (scabies) without receiving the necessary treatment, despite repeated appeals from his family and lawyer.
