Chief of Staff Sends Condolence Message to Hamas: “The Enemy Is Doomed, and We Stand with You Until Victory”

The Chief of the General Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Major General Youssef Hassan Al-Madani, sent a condolence message on Wednesday to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Palestinian people over the martyrdom of a number of leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades.

In his message of condolence to the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Chief of Staff stated:

“With complete submission to God’s will, and with hearts stricken by grief yet filled with the pride of jihad, we in the Yemeni Armed Forces received the news of the ascension of a constellation of the nation’s finest figures and great leaders, who dismounted their steeds after lives rich in confronting tyrants and challenging criminals across all arenas and battlefields.”

He added:

“As we share with our brothers in the trench of jihad in the Al-Qassam Brigades and the steadfast Palestinian people this immense loss, we affirm that your loss is our loss, and that the blade that struck your flank has wounded our hearts. Yet our greatest solace and firm conviction lie in those lofty stances they inscribed with ink of light and fire—stances that humbled the arrogance of the Zionist entity, shattered its hubris, and painted the most splendid images of sacrifice and giving in the sky of glory, so that the heads of the nation remain raised toward dignity by virtue of their jihad, bearing witness to the greatness of this faith and the strength of those who believe in its principles.”

Addressing the resistance, he stressed that they should be reassured that, no matter how much the Zionist enemy persists in tyranny, how greatly it exalts itself on earth, or how much it resorts to brutality and oppression, it is—without doubt—heading toward its inevitable demise and disgraceful end. He noted that the dissipation of its darkness is a Qur’anic truth, disputed only by the faint-hearted and weak in faith who have strayed from what God revealed in His clear Book and through His prophets and messengers.

He further affirmed that the great Palestinian people—hardened by trials—have produced this elite group of outstanding leaders and will produce many more like them, capable of bringing forth a thousand leaders from their ranks. He added:

“The banner will not fall so long as there is a pulse beating in this nation, and the path paved by the martyrs with the purity of their noble blood will remain a guiding beacon for all who walk the road of liberation among our nation and the free people of the world.”

He explained that the treacherous Zionist enemy, notorious for breaking covenants and agreements, has proven that its resort to cowardly assassinations during periods of truce and ceasefire is nothing but clear evidence of its baseness and an explicit admission of its inability to confront resistance forces in the field, where its weapons have shattered against the rock of your unparalleled legendary steadfastness.

Major General Youssef Hassan Al-Madani concluded by affirming that the Yemeni Armed Forces—leadership and soldiers alike—will remain a pillar of support and steadfast backing for the brotherly Palestinian people and their valiant resistance. He added:

“We stand with you in every option you choose and in every arena you enter, until God grants clear victory, full independence is achieved, and the last Zionist soldier is expelled from the pure soil of Palestine.”
