Tomorrow: Launch of the Martyr of the Qur’an Festival 1447 AH in Sana’a with Cultural Events and Arab Participation

The activities of the Martyr of the Qur’an Festival 1447 AH will commence tomorrow, Monday, in commemoration of the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur’an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The festival is organized by the Martyr Zaid Ali Musleh Foundation and will be held in the capital, Sana’a, over a three-day period from 23 to 25 Rajab.

The festival features a diverse program of cultural and artistic events, including a range of creative performances أبرزها an anthemic operetta, an artistic medley, classical and colloquial poetry recitations, zāmil performances, and poetic exchanges, in addition to cultural and intellectual seminars, as well as daily competitions and prizes for attendees.

The festival will also host intellectual and academic contributions from thinkers and researchers from Algeria, Tunisia, and Palestine, highlighting the Qur’anic project of the martyred leader and the intellectual and cultural transformations it has inspired across the Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic arenas, in the face of American and Israeli conspiracies targeting the nation.

The festival’s program further includes a dedicated women’s event, reflecting the active presence and role of women in commemorating the occasion and participating in the accompanying cultural activities.
