Hamas: Extremist Ben-Gvir’s storming of al-Aqsa mosque provocative step to desecrate Islamic holy sites

Hamas on Tuesday condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by the so-called Minister of National Security in the extremist Zionist enemy government, the war criminal Itamar Ben-Gvir, as a provocative step that is part of a systematic policy to desecrate Islamic holy sites and impose new Judaizing realities, in light of the weak Arab and Islamic responses to his previous incursions.

Hamas stated in a press release received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this storming represents a blatant new attack on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and a violation that reveals the Zionist enemy government’s insistence on its religious war against the holy city.

Hamas warned of the repercussions of this escalating aggression, emphasizing that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line and that the Palestinian people will continue to defend it by all means.

Hamas called on Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and within Israel to travel to and remain at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It also called on the Arab and Muslim world and the international community to assume their responsibilities and take immediate action to stop these ongoing violations against the holy sites, the land of Palestine, and its people.
