Hamas Official: We will mobilize all efforts to ensure success of Administrative Committee’s Work in Gaza Strip

The head of the National Relations Department of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) abroad, Ali Baraka, welcomed on Wednesday the announcement of the formation of the Administrative Committee for the Gaza Strip.

According to the Quds Press agency, Baraka said in a statement that this step is a positive and important development in the context of stabilizing the ceasefire and addressing the difficult humanitarian and service conditions experienced by the Palestinian people in the Strip, following the war of genocide and destruction launched by the enemy.

Baraka valued the major role played by the mediators and all sincere efforts that contributed to achieving this formation, affirming that this step serves the interest of the Palestinian people and alleviates their escalating suffering.

He confirmed that the “Hamas” movement, along with various Palestinian factions and forces, will cooperate fully and positively with the Administrative Committee, ensuring the stabilization of the ceasefire and aggression on the Gaza Strip, the entry of urgent humanitarian aid without restrictions or conditions, the full opening of all crossings, foremost among them the Rafah crossing in both directions, in addition to the immediate start of rehabilitation and reconstruction operations for what the enemy destroyed, ensuring the return of dignified life to the sons of the Palestinian people.

Baraka emphasized that the current phase requires prioritizing the supreme national interest, enhancing Palestinian partnership, and unifying efforts to confront the repercussions of the aggression.

Since October 7, 2023, enemy forces—with American and European support—have committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arrest, ignoring international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to stop it.
