Mass Public Event in Al-Hudaydah and Inauguration of the Central Exhibition on the Anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur’an
On Saturday, the Martyr Leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi Hall in Al-Hudaydah Governorate hosted a large public event and the inauguration of the central exhibition marking the anniversary of his martyrdom, with broad official and popular attendance, as part of the activities commemorating the Martyr of the Qur’an for the year 1447 AH.
For the third consecutive year since their opening, the hall and exhibition were filled with official leaders, social figures, and large crowds of citizens, in commemoration of the Martyr of the Qur’an and in remembrance of his Qur’anic project, which the Martyr Leader established as a framework of awareness, movement, and principled stance.
During the event—organized by the local authority and mobilization office in the governorate—speeches were delivered by Al-Hudaydah Governor Abdullah Atiyafi and Ansar Allah Political Bureau member Dhaif Allah Al-Shami. Both expressed their deepest condolences to the Leader of the Revolution and to the family of the Martyr Leader on the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur’an.
They described the anniversary of the Martyr Leader as a continuation of the revolution whose banner was raised by the Martyr of Truth, for which he moved forward striving in the cause of God without fear of reproach, at a time marked by fear, complacency, and weakness.
Atiyafi and Al-Shami noted that the Qur’anic project launched by the Martyr Leader, along with the “Scream” he raised in the face of arrogant tyrants and the declaration of disavowal of the enemies of God, constituted a starting point for a jihadi stance that upheld the truth and entrenched the equation that “blood triumphs over the sword.”
Following the event, the leadership of Al-Hudaydah Governorate—attended by guests from various governorates—inaugurated the central exhibition within the hall building. The exhibition reflects events in Yemen and the الأمة, as well as global developments, through images, models, and diverse formats that simulate the reality of tragedy, oppression, and crimes committed against peoples.
Visitors toured the exhibition’s wings, reviewing its sections and contents, which include titles and details documented with photographs, illustrations, models, and panels inspired by the struggle, life, and project of the Martyr Leader and the objectives for which he stood.
The exhibition includes multiple wings, أبرزها scenes from the six wars on Sa’ada; crimes of the Saudi, American, and Emirati aggression against Yemen; and crimes of the Zionist entity against Gaza. It also features sections documenting Yemen’s stance in support of Palestine and the operations carried out by the armed forces at sea and strikes targeting the depth of the Zionist entity.
The exhibition further includes the “Dark Tunnel” wing, simulating the tragic condition of the Arab الأمة; sections depicting the period before and after the 21 September Revolution; a military manufacturing wing showcasing models of domestically produced Yemeni weapons and missiles; and a cultural wing embodying the Martyr Leader’s intellectual output, including his booklets and lectures, alongside a wing highlighting the growing role of the Leader of the Revolution in embodying the values of this project.
The First Deputy Governor and Mobilization Supervisor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, explained that the exhibition embodies the greatness of the project carried by the Martyr Leader as a way of life to restore the الأمة’s dignity and honor and to awaken awareness in confronting global arrogance. He affirmed that the symbolism of the images and models reflects the dignity Yemen enjoys and its firm positions regarding the Palestinian cause.
