On the anniversary of the Martyr Leader, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Emergency Forces in the capital, Sana’a, held a grand military parade with broad participation from officers, personnel, and vehicles. The event showcased the advanced qualitative level of the forces and delivered a clear message of their field readiness, resilience, and capability to safeguard the security of the nation and its citizens.
A Military Parade Reflecting Discipline and Readiness
The parade was attended by the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul-Majid al-Murtada; the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Human Resources and Finance, Major General Ali al-Saifi; the Director of Training and Qualification at the Ministry, Major General Abdul-Fattah al-Madani; the Assistant Director of Capital Security, Brigadier Abdullah al-Houri; and the Commander of the Emergency Forces, Colonel Badr al-Din al-Marani.
Major General al-Murtada emphasized that the parade reflects an advanced level of discipline and preparedness among officers and personnel, embodying the security achievements that have contributed to strengthening safety, stability, and public reassurance. He stressed that it constitutes a clear deterrent message to anyone who might contemplate undermining citizens’ security or disturbing public tranquility.
Drawing Lessons from the Martyr Leader’s Legacy
The Deputy Minister of Interior noted that the parade and the launch of the new training year coincided with the anniversary of the Martyr Leader, the Martyr of the Qur’an, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He described the occasion as an opportunity to draw lessons from his life and to follow the path of the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland and the dignity of its people.
He added that the Martyr Leader advanced a Qur’anic project grounded in trust in God, sacrificing himself for noble principles and values, and affirmed that adherence to values and trust in God are the foundation for achieving victory.
Forces’ Readiness: A Message of Resilience and Security
For his part, the Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations of the Emergency Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah al-Hadi, affirmed the forces’ readiness to confront all schemes of the aggression and to counter any attempts targeting the security, stability, and dignity of the nation.
Al-Hadi explained that the Qur’anic cultural project launched by the Martyr Leader helped expose the conspiracies of the الأمة’s enemies and strengthened trust in God among personnel, enabling them to face any power on earth without fear—except fear of God Almighty.
He added: “We have renewed our covenant to God and His Messenger, to the Martyr of the Qur’an, and to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to move forward on the path of the martyrs,” affirming the Emergency Forces’ continued fulfillment of their security and jihadi duties with full responsibility and competence.
