Settlers injure Three Palestinians in Beit Furik & attack Qasra Town

Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday due to an attack by settlers in the plain of Beit Furik town, east of Nablus city in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that settlers severely assaulted Ahed Malitat and Najeh Sabah Nsasrah in the plain of Beit Furik, along with a 70-year-old elderly man. They were transferred to the Al-Sadaqa Medical Center in the town for treatment, according to the Palestinian Safa Agency.

The sources indicated that the town’s residents rushed to confront the attack, leading to the intervention of Israeli enemy forces who fired sound grenades and tear gas.

In a related context, settlers attacked citizens in the town of Qasra, south of Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank, on Saturday.

The Mayor of Qasra, Hani Odeh, told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that settlers attacked citizens in the western area of the town under the protection of the Israeli enemy army, leading to clashes involving intense gunfire.

He noted that the settlers had set up tents three days ago in the western area of the town, even though it is located in the so-called “Area A,” warning of the danger this poses to the town and citizens’ homes.
