Al-Quds Brigades in Tubas Governorate: Detonation of an Explosive Device Targeting an Israeli Military Vehicle, Confirmed Casualties

The Tubas Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Sunday that its fighters were able, last night, to detonate a ground-based explosive device of the “Tufan” type against an Israeli military vehicle at the Tayaseer Junction axis in Tubas Governorate in the occupied West Bank, resulting in confirmed casualties.

In a statement, the Brigades said that “after communication was re-established with one of our combat formations, our fighters confirmed that at exactly 10:42 PM last night they successfully detonated a ground-based ‘Tufan’ explosive device against a military vehicle at the Tayaseer Junction axis in Tubas Governorate, inflicting confirmed casualties.”

This operation comes within the framework of the Palestinian resistance factions’ response to the escalation of Israeli forces’ attacks against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, concurrent with what they describe as genocide, starvation, and siege being carried out in the Gaza Strip for more than two years.
