Enemy kills two Palestinians in raid on mourning tent in central Gaza

Two Palestinian civilians were martyred and others wounded on Monday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a mourning tent in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a mourning tent belonging to Abu al-Rous family, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to others, some of whom were described as being in moderate condition, according to the Palestinian news agency Shihab.

The sources indicated that ambulances rushed to the scene amidst widespread panic among residents, and the wounded were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

This bombing comes as part of the ongoing escalation by Israeli forces against various areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian gatherings and populated homes.

Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire on October 10 has reached 526, with 1,447 wounded, in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, following a two-year-long Israeli offensive. However, the Israeli army continues to violate the agreement daily.
