Death toll from Israeli aggression in Gaza rises to 72,027
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 72,027 martyrs and 171,651 wounded since October 7, 2023, on Saturday.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip explained in its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, which was reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that hospitals received two martyrs and 25 wounded during the past 24 hours.
It noted that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by enemy fire has reached 576, the total number of wounded is 1,543, and the total number of martyrs whose bodies have been recovered is 717.
The Ministry indicated that 174 martyrs have been added to the cumulative count of martyrs whose data has been completed and approved by the Martyrs’ Approval Committee from January 30 to February 6.
The ministry confirmed that a large number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them so far.
