Iranian Army Commander Warns: Any Enemy Move Will Be Met with a Decisive Response

The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Major General Amir Hatami, emphasized that the mission of the armed forces is to maintain their readiness, monitor all enemy movements, and prepare for a decisive response.

According to the Fars News Agency, Major General Hatami, speaking on the sidelines of a meeting between commanders, officers, and personnel of the Iranian Air Force and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces on Sunday morning, commemorating Air Force Day, noted that the Air Force made a historic, divinely ordained decision to join the Islamic Revolution.

The Commander-in-Chief continued, “The Air Force has continued its growth and development. During the 12-Day War, it carried out all its missions with courage and determination, ultimately forcing the enemy to surrender and request a ceasefire, thanks to the steadfastness of the powerful armed forces.”

Major General Hatami stressed the importance of learning from the valuable lessons of that war, indicating that the Air Force has benefited from those lessons and has not wasted a moment. He added that the Air Force is now in a state of high readiness commensurate with current threats and circumstances.

Addressing the enemy, Major General Hatami said, “We hope the enemy will not make another mistake. If they do, the Army Air Force will certainly play a major role in responding to the enemy.”

Regarding the presence of US aircraft carriers in the region, the Army Commander-in-Chief stated, “This is nothing new. Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, we have repeatedly witnessed the presence of aircraft carriers and various units of the American enemy. Today is one of those days.”

He added, “Our mission is to maintain our readiness, monitor all enemy movements, and prepare for a decisive response. This is what we are doing.”

Major General Amir Hatami concluded his remarks by saying, “Today, without a doubt, the great Iranian nation and the Armed Forces know that they must stand firm until the last moment and the last drop of blood to defend the country’s independence and territorial integrity, which are under threat. They will prevail, God willing.”
