Palestinian civilian martyred by Israeli gunfire in central Gaza Strip
A Palestinian civilian was martyred on Monday evening after being shot by Israeli forces in the central Gaza Strip, in what is described as a continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing local sources, reported that farmer Khaled Baraka was killed by Israeli gunfire east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, marking a new breach of the ceasefire.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total number of people killed by Israeli army fire since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has reached 581, with 1,553 others injured, describing it as a clear violation of the agreement.
The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, following what was described as a two-year war of genocide. However, Israeli forces continue to commit daily violations of the agreement.
