Zionist Enemy Arrests Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Young Man in Al-Bireh
The Israeli enemy police arrested on Monday evening the Imam of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Abbasi, from inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa in occupied Quds.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), local sources reported that the enemy police detained Sheikh Al-Abbasi inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, with no information available on the reasons for the arrest or the nature of measures taken against him.
This arrest comes amidst escalating Zionist enemy measures against the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which include restricting imams, preachers, and those maintaining steadfastness (Murabiteen), imposing limitations on worshippers’ entry, in addition to intensifying incursions carried out by Zionist settlers under heavy protection from the enemy police.
Occupied Quds, particularly the Old City and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, is witnessing escalating tension due to strict security measures imposed by the enemy authorities, accompanied by arrests and removal orders against religious figures and Jerusalemite activists.
