Resistance Committees call on Palestinians to actively mobilize during Ramadan in solidarity initiatives with Gaza
The Palestinian Resistance Committees on Tuesday called on Palestinians everywhere around the world to take active action during the month of Ramadan through the broadest solidarity initiatives and activities in support of their people in the Gaza Strip, which continues to face genocide, massacres, ethnic cleansing, siege, and starvation.
In a press statement, the committees said that “the blessed month of Ramadan is a valuable opportunity for our nation — its leaders, peoples, organizations, and scholarly, charitable, and humanitarian institutions — to take serious and effective action in all arenas to support the steadfastness of our people in the Gaza Strip and those stationed in Jerusalem and at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to thwart all attempts by the occupation and its supporters to carry out their plans of killing, starving, and displacing our people, erasing the features of their land, sanctities, and identity, and sidelining their national cause of liberation and return.”
They also called on the Palestinian public across the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied interior to “mobilize all energies during this blessed month by setting out to Al-Aqsa Mosque, maintaining presence and spiritual retreat there, and making the days and nights of Ramadan a time of worship, steadfastness, and resistance against the enemy and its settlers, as well as protection and defense of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa until they are liberated from occupation.”
