Iran Announces Targeting of Largest Data Center in a Gulf State
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it targeted the largest data center belonging to the American company Amazon in the Middle East, located in Bahrain.
In a statement released Wednesday, the IRGC said the attack was carried out using drones.
The statement added that the operation was conducted to “limit the role of these data centers in supporting American military and intelligence activities against Iran.”
Since February 28, 2016, the United States and Israel have been waging a brutal war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, resulting in the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and dozens of other commanders. The conflict continues with exchanges of missile and drone strikes, escalating tensions in the region.
