Iraqi Resistance Downs US Drone

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Thursday that it had downed an MQ-9 drone belonging to the US occupation forces in Iraqi airspace.

In a statement, the Resistance said: “In defense of our country’s sovereignty and its airspace, which has been violated by the occupation forces’ aircraft, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq downed an MQ-9 drone belonging to the US occupation forces in the skies of Salah al-Din province, using appropriate weaponry.”

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq carries out daily attacks targeting US and Zionist bases and interests in the country and the region, in response to the US-Zionist aggression against Iran that began last Saturday morning.
