President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, extended his congratulations to the Iranian Muslim people on the successful election of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Ali Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In his message, President Al-Mashat said:”We congratulate the new leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Ali Khamenei, on the confidence he has received following the unanimous decision of the Assembly of Experts. We pray that Allah guides his steps and grants him success in continuing the path of his predecessor, the martyred leader Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, may Allah bless his soul—particularly at this critical juncture in Iran’s history, as it faces the brutal US-Israeli aggression—leading the nation to a clear and decisive victory, Allah willing.”

He highlighted that the election of Ayatollah Khamenei demonstrates the resilience and unity of the Iranian state under extreme external pressures and reflects the institutional strength of the Islamic Republic.

President Al-Mashat emphasized that the new leadership would bolster the role of Iran’s political, military, and security institutions in confronting the savage US-Zionist aggression, aiming for a decisive victory with Allah’s guidance.

He added: “The election of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei will help thwart the enemy’s ambitions and further consolidate the cohesion of the Iranian people and their leadership.”
