The Leader: Iranian Steadfastness is a Shining Example for the Nation… and Yemen Stands with the Islamic Republic in Confronting the Enemies

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the correct stance for the Islamic nation is to stand against the brutal American-Zionist aggression targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran. He considered this aggression not only to be targeting Iran but the entire region and its peoples.

In his speech on the occasion of International Quds Day, the Leader explained that Iranian steadfastness represents a magnificent example of resilience and confrontation. He pointed out that the Iranian response was strong, effective, and devastating to the enemies, inflicting heavy losses on American bases in the region and causing significant damage to the Israeli enemy. He emphasized that the Iranian response is ongoing.

He noted that the nation has witnessed great examples of steadfastness and resilience, as seen with the resistance fighters in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq. He added that what the Islamic Republic of Iran is offering today represents a successful and honorable model from which the peoples of the region should draw inspiration in confronting the American and Israeli enemy.

The Leader stated that the level of aggression and tyranny to which the Islamic Republic has been subjected would have caused some countries in the region to collapse within days, or even hours, had they been subjected to it. He emphasized that Iran’s resilience and the unity of its people serve as a positive model and a source of pride for the nation.

The Leader criticized the negative stances of some regimes that seek to protect the American bases located in their countries and provide cover for them to continue their aggression against the Islamic Republic. He pointed out that the Americans and Israelis are trying to embroil these regimes in direct participation in the aggression.

He clarified that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the right to reject this violation, as these American bases are used to attack it. He considered the adoption of the protection of these bases by some governments to be regrettable and dangerous.

The Leader affirmed that the developments on the ground clearly reveal the failure of the American and Israeli enemies to achieve their objectives, in contrast to the great unity of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people. He noted that the enemies are currently facing a clear predicament and suffering heavy losses.

He called on certain regimes that persist in their negative stances toward Iran to reconsider their positions, warning that the enemies’ success in their aggression—had it been achieved—would have led to its exploitation to subjugate the rest of the region’s peoples.

In the same vein, the Leader affirmed that Hezbollah’s resistance to the Israeli aggression against Lebanon is a legitimate right, stressing that instead of blaming it, its position should be supported. He also affirmed that the actions of the mujahideen Islamic factions in Iraq are a legitimate stance in confronting the American invasion of the country.

He pointed out that the United States is targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Iraqi people, emphasizing that the American presence in Iraq remains an occupation and a violation of sovereignty.

Regarding the Yemeni position, the Leader stressed that Yemen has considered from the outset that the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is an aggression targeting the entire region, affirming that this aggression constitutes a war against Islam and Muslims.

He affirmed that Yemen stands with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim Iranian people, indicating its readiness to confront any developments in this battle.

In his address, the leader reiterated that the Palestinian cause will remain the central issue for the nation, emphasizing the religious and moral obligation to support the Palestinian people and their holy sites, foremost among them the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also reaffirmed the principled stance of hostility towards the Zionist enemy and its aggressive schemes against the Islamic nation, as well as its efforts to mislead and corrupt humanity.
