Hezbollah Mourns Larijani’s Martyrdom, Says Assassinations Will Not Break Iran’s Resolve

Hezbollah on Wednesday offered its condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and to the Iranian people over the martyrdom of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

In a statement of condolence, the party affirmed that the assassination of leaders will not break the will of the Islamic Republic nor weaken the determination of its leadership and people.

Hezbollah also stressed that the Islamic Republic will remain a cornerstone of the project opposing American arrogance and Zionist expansion, regardless of the sacrifices required.

It added that Iran’s steadfastness continues to thwart all settlement, colonial, and fragmentation schemes aimed at subjugating the peoples of the region and plundering their resources.

On Tuesday, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced the martyrdom of its secretary Ali Larijani, along with his son Morteza and several of his colleagues, in what it described as a Zionist attack.
