Wave 86 of “True Promise 4”: Precise Strikes Target US Bases and Break the Blackout
In a notable escalation reflecting the steadfastness of the Iranian position and its ability to manage the battle with a high level of readiness and planning, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 86th wave of Operation “True Promise 4,” as part of the ongoing response to the American-Zionist aggression. The IRGC emphasized that this wave carries both field and humanitarian messages, as it pays tribute to the souls of a group of martyrs, including journalists Ali Shoaib, Fatemeh Fatouni, and Mohammad Fatouni, in addition to Armenian and Christian martyrs in Iran.
This wave witnessed the execution of concentrated strikes targeting the infrastructure of air operations and drone systems, as well as weapons depots at several US military bases, most notably Camp Victory, Camp Arifjan, and Camp Al-Kharj. These strikes were carried out using a combination of ballistic missiles and drones, in an operation that reflects the diversity and integration of capabilities within a broad target bank.
The strikes were not limited to bases. The military operations extended to include sites described as staging areas and hideouts for US and Israeli forces, as well as elements linked to the Komala Party, in various locations, including Arad, the Negev, Tel Aviv, and Erbil. The targeting of the Fifth Fleet and Al Dhafra Air Base further underscores the breadth of the operations and Iran’s ability to reach its targets across a wide geographical area.
According to the Revolutionary Guard, the scenes of rising smoke and explosions, along with images of the wreckage of destroyed US aircraft, estimated to be worth millions of dollars, constituted tangible evidence of the effectiveness of the strikes. These images also thwarted attempts at media blackout by some of Washington’s allies in the region, who sought to conceal the true extent of the losses.
In the same vein, Iranian Army spokesman Brigadier General Amir Karami Nia asserted that the US-Israeli aggression aims to dismantle Iran and other countries in the region as part of a project seeking to impose what is termed “Greater Israel.” He emphasized that Tehran’s actions fall within the framework of legitimate self-defense and deterrence of aggression.
Karami Nia explained that The war imposed on Iran failed to break its will; on the contrary, it strengthened and solidified it. He noted that the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to deal with various scenarios, including any attempt by the enemy to launch a ground offensive, which he considered a “strength” for Iran, given what he described as the enemy’s inability to engage in direct confrontation.
These developments confirm that Operation “True Promise 4” is entering a more advanced phase in terms of the nature of its targets and the scope of its operations. This is part of an open-ended battle through which Iran seeks to establish new deterrent equations and deliver clear messages that any escalation will be met with a qualitative and painful response that exceeds conventional expectations.
