US Newspaper: Multiple Fronts Exhaust Israel and Strengthen Iran’s Position
The American newspaper Modern Diplomacy stated that the conflict in the Middle East has entered a more dangerous phase after Israel announced a second attack launched from Yemen. The arrival of drones launched by the Yemeni armed forces confirms that the war is no longer confined, but is rapidly expanding throughout the region.
It emphasized that this comes amidst the ongoing exchange of missiles between Israel and Iran, alongside the continued US military buildup under President Donald Trump. Despite emerging diplomatic signals, including Pakistan’s offer to host talks, developments on the ground indicate an escalation rather than a de-escalation.
It stated that the Yemeni armed forces’ involvement in the conflict represents a significant strategic shift. The second attack demonstrates a sustained intent, not merely a passing gesture. By opening another front, the Yemenis are straining Israel’s defense systems and forcing it to disperse its military efforts. Furthermore, Yemen’s geographical location adds a crucial maritime dimension. The report added that Israel has intensified its air campaign, launching more than 140 airstrikes on Iranian territory, including Tehran.
