Hezbollah Announces Series of Attacks on Israeli Positions in the North

Hezbollah announced on Saturday that it had carried out a series of military operations against Israeli army positions and vehicles in various areas along the northern border, asserting that the response would continue until what it described as the Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon and its people ceases.

In successive statements, the party explained that its fighters targeted a Merkava tank in the Saf al-Hawa area of ​​Bint Jbeil with a drone, achieving a confirmed hit.

It also announced a rocket barrage targeting the Avivim settlement, coinciding with the firing of at least five rockets toward the city of Nahariya, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

The party indicated that it targeted gatherings of Israeli vehicles and soldiers in Bint Jbeil and the border town of Maroun al-Ras with volleys of rockets and artillery shells, in addition to a rocket barrage targeting the Yir’on settlement in response to what it described as violations of the agreement and repeated attacks on southern villages.

Hezbollah also announced another rocket barrage targeting the settlement of Nahariya and attacks on Israeli military infrastructure in the occupied city of Safed, asserting that these operations were in retaliation for Israeli attacks on Nabatieh.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported hearing sirens in Safed, Meron, and surrounding areas, as well as in three locations in the Western Galilee, due to fears of drone incursions.
