The Revolutionary Guard warns: Any military crossing of the Strait of Hormuz will be met with a strong response.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned that any attempt by warships to cross the Strait of Hormuz would be met with a strong response, emphasizing that only non-military vessels would be permitted passage under specific regulations.

Earlier, the Revolutionary Guard Navy asserted its “intelligent and powerful control” over the Strait of Hormuz, noting that maritime traffic in the strategic waterway is subject to its own monitoring and regulations.

The Revolutionary Guard Navy clarified that it allows certain non-military vessels to pass through the strait, provided they coordinate in advance with Iran and adhere to its established regulations.

On Saturday, coinciding with the trilateral talks between Iran, the United States, and Pakistan in Islamabad, two US destroyers attempted to approach the Strait of Hormuz before withdrawing under threat from the Iranian armed forces and the Iranian negotiating team. The spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, strongly denied claims by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding the approach and entry of US naval vessels into the Strait of Hormuz.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters emphasized that the authority to allow any naval vessel to pass through the Strait of Hormuz rests with the Iranian Armed Forces.
