Pezeshkian: The Iranian People’s Resilience Thwarted the Enemy’s Bet and Destabilization Plots
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that the Iranian people’s resilience and awareness were the decisive factors in thwarting the enemies’ bet during the sensitive period following the ceasefire. He emphasized that their active presence on the domestic front foiled the scenarios aimed at destabilizing the country and undermining its internal unity.
Pezeshkian explained that the hegemonic powers that aligned against Iran during the war were betting on fracturing the internal fabric and creating chaos. However, the Iranian people’s cohesion and resilience thwarted these plans and forced these powers to retreat. This, in itself, is a strategic achievement that reflects the strength of the national will.
He pointed out that the Iranian people were able to foil attempts to target internal stability and strengthen national harmony, contrary to the enemy’s assessments, which were based on the premise of division. He noted that some parties, having failed, resorted to targeting civilian and vital infrastructure in a desperate attempt to compensate for their defeats.
In a related context, the Iranian president explained that the country faced the challenges of aggression, sanctions, and economic pressures simultaneously, yet there were no shortages of basic goods domestically. He attributed this to the precise decisions made by the government with the support of the leadership, and to the high level of preparedness and effective crisis management.
Pezeshkian emphasized that the people’s participation in various fields represents a strategic asset that must be built upon in the post-war era. He affirmed that the government will continue to work to its fullest capacity to serve the citizens, advance reconstruction, and promote development.
He concluded by stressing that national solidarity and unity are the cornerstones for overcoming future challenges and for maintaining stability and strengthening the state’s power in the face of any future threats.
