The Israeli enemy admits its defense system is weak against Hezbollah’s drones.

The Israeli army radio revealed that field units have begun independently developing solutions to counter the drone threat, including deploying nets over military sites, homes, and windows to prevent drones from reaching their targets by causing them to become entangled in the nets.

The radio quoted an Israeli officer currently fighting in Lebanon as saying that these measures are “improvised solutions” being implemented in some units, but are “far from sufficient” to counter the escalating threat.

In the same context, the radio reported that commanders of combat units are expressing growing frustration over the increasing drone threat, given the limited means available to deal with them. It noted that field instructions are limited to raising readiness levels and opening fire immediately upon detecting any drone.

The Israeli enemy’s “High Command Forum” at the Ramat David base also discussed the drone issue extensively. The commander of the 282nd Artillery Brigade, which participated in the offensive operations in southern Lebanon, described this threat as a “major operational challenge” requiring a reorganization of confrontation mechanisms.

In a notable comment, one of the enemy’s field commanders said that the forces “don’t have much else to do” except deal directly with the drones when they are detected.

For its part, Hebrew media quoted a military journalist as saying that Hezbollah “has returned to the pre-war equations,” while Israel, according to him, is returning to conditions similar to those before October 7, 2013.

In a related field development, the Israeli enemy army announced the detection of a drone launched towards its forces in southern Lebanon, indicating that it was intercepted by a defensive missile, while the results of the operation are still being investigated.
