The Yemeni Scholars Association calls for continued mobilization and rejection of any agreements that infringe upon the country’s resources.

The Yemeni Scholars Association expressed its rejection of any agreements made by Saudi Arabia with mercenaries regarding the plundering of sovereign wealth and the deprivation of the Yemeni people of their rights and natural resources.

In a statement, the association stressed its rejection of any decisions or arrangements that target national sovereignty or affect the country’s wealth for the benefit of external parties, calling for raising the level of public awareness of the seriousness of the stage, and continuing in a state of mobilization and readiness in anticipation of any future developments.

In its statement, the League addressed the developments in Palestine, Lebanon and Bahrain, stressing the need for continued popular and official support for Gaza, considering this a humanitarian and moral duty, and calling on Arab and Islamic countries to assume their responsibilities towards what the sector is being subjected to.

Regarding the Lebanese issue, the association praised Hezbollah’s steadfastness in the face of Israeli aggression, considering that attempts at military and political pressure will not achieve their goals. It also appreciated the positions of Lebanese scholars who support the resistance option.

The association also expressed its concern about the arrests and arbitrary measures taking place in Bahrain against scholars and citizens, calling for a united stance from the nation’s scholars and free people in the face of these policies.
