Protests by Women’s Authority in Hajjah in support of Quran, solidarity with Lebanon

The Cultural Women’s Authority in Hajjah governorate organized protests in several districts under the slogan: “In support of the Quran and Al-Aqsa, in solidarity with Lebanon, and affirming readiness.”

Participants in the protests held in the districts of Mahabishah, Qarah, Kahlan al-Sharaf, Washhah, Al Miftah, and Shahil chanted slogans denouncing the offense committed by the American-Zionist criminal by burning a copy of the Holy Quran.

They raised copies of the Quran and banners of disavowal from America and Israel, considering that the repetition of crimes against Islamic holy sites embodies the hatred that the Zionists and Americans harbor towards Islam, Muslims, and the nation’s sanctities.

They expressed their anger over the renewed Zionist-American offenses against the holiest of holy sites, calling on Arab and Islamic regimes and peoples to stand up for the Holy Quran and put an end to these repeated violations against symbols and holy sites.

They also affirmed the steadfast Yemeni position, based on religious and moral grounds, in supporting the brothers in Gaza, working to liberate the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and every inch of Palestinian land, and standing with the prisoners in occupation prisons until they gain freedom.

The statement pointed to the importance of everyone’s participation in supporting the Eid convoy for those stationed on the fronts of pride, dignity, and sacred jihad.
