Yemeni Foreign Ministry: Iran’s Response to US Aggression is a Legitimate Right

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed the Republic of Yemen’s appreciation for the honorable stance of the Iranian Armed Forces in responding to the US aggression and targeting its bases in the region.

In a statement, the Ministry also commended the Iranian Armed Forces’ significant role in deterring the Israeli enemy entity, which targeted the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and in upholding the principle of unity among Arab states.

The Ministry affirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s right to respond to any future attacks on its territory and national security.

It reiterated its rejection of the continued hosting by some Gulf states of US military bases that target countries in the region, serving the Zionist project and protecting the Israeli enemy entity.

The Ministry denounced the attempts by these regimes to portray themselves as victims and claim to be the target of the Iranian response, while simultaneously providing cover, protection, and financial support to the invading and aggressor forces.

The Ministry reaffirmed that these regimes, through their foolish policies, will inflict great harm upon themselves and their people and will be the first to lose in this conflict.

The statement clarified that the battle being waged by the nation’s honorable people is everyone’s battle, and that the option of surrender is not an option; the enemy’s bet on its military capabilities has failed.

It praised the steadfastness and resilience shown despite the suffering across the entire geographical expanse of the axis countries, from Iran to Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by affirming Yemen’s unwavering and principled stance in support of its brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
