The Leader on the Anniversary of Wilayah: Enemies’ Plots Target the Nation, and We Are Prepared to Confront Any Escalation

The Leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the occasion of Wilayah Day, also known as Eid al-Ghadir, represents a significant milestone of faith, reinforcing the concepts of divine guidance and strengthening the nation’s awareness of its responsibilities in confronting challenges and dangers. He emphasized that the enemies of the nation constantly strive to target the principle of Wilayah and strip Muslims of their strength, dignity, and resilience.

In his address on the occasion of Wilayah Day, the Leader explained that Jews and Christians attempt to present themselves under misleading titles, such as carrying the banner of light and justice, while in reality they perpetrate the most heinous forms of injustice, corruption, and aggression against peoples and nations. He affirmed that their projects target the Islamic nation destructively, seeking to subjugate it and incorporate it into a system of hegemony and enslavement.

He pointed out that the enemies are working to strip the nation of the honor of bearing the divine message and of the great values ​​and principles that represent the source of its pride and dignity, to the point that some are repelled by these very concepts and view them as a sign of backwardness, all within the framework of an intellectual and cultural war targeting the nation’s faith-based identity.

The Leader emphasized that the most dangerous threat facing the nation is the infiltration of its leadership, as this empowers enemies to control the destiny of the people, direct their policies, and control various aspects of their lives. He explained that the relationship of many regimes with America and Israel has become based on subservience, receiving dictates, and submitting to external directives.

He noted that what is happening in a number of Arab and Islamic countries reflects the extent of American and Zionist interference in shaping public policies, influencing major decisions, and even in selecting officials and determining centers of influence and power. He stressed that the policy of appeasement and submission to the enemies represents a catastrophic danger to the nation and comes at the expense of the principles, values, and authentic identity of the religion.

The leader explained that one of the most dangerous manifestations of this decline is the targeting of educational curricula in some countries, including the removal of Quranic verses and religious content, in response to American and Zionist pressure. He considered this one of the most heinous forms of targeting the nation’s identity and fundamental principles.

The leader affirmed that the crimes of the Zionist enemy in Palestine, Lebanon, and other countries clearly reveal the true nature of its aggressive and colonial objectives. He stated that the genocide and violations perpetrated against the Palestinian people serve as a model for what the enemy intends for the rest of the nation’s peoples should it succeed in imposing its complete hegemony.

He emphasized that the current stage is one of the most dangerous the nation has faced, given the escalating American and Zionist schemes aimed at imposing the “Greater Israel” project and reshaping the region to serve the enemy’s interests. This necessitates a high level of awareness, responsibility, and steadfast adherence to principles and faith-based values.

The Leader reiterated that Yemen’s stance towards the enemies of the nation is a truly Quranic one, based on the teachings and guidance of the Holy Quran. He emphasized the steadfastness of this position regarding the aggression and direct targeting of the Palestinian people and the targeted populations in Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Yemen.

He also affirmed complete readiness to confront any new escalation or any developments imposed by the current stage, noting that Yemen is acting with confidence in God Almighty and with a full awareness of the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon it.

He explained that there is complete coordination with the forces and axis of Jihad, resistance, and Jerusalem regarding the events in Palestine and Lebanon, and in confronting the aggressive American measures. He stressed that any American attempts to embroil certain forces and entities in the region in fighting in service of the Zionist enemy will only bring them loss, shame, and grave consequences.

The Leader concluded his speech by emphasizing the continued work of strengthening the connection to the Holy Quran, adhering to the guardianship of God, and liberating oneself from the guardianship of tyranny, considering this the only way to protect the nation, preserve its dignity and independence, and confront projects of hegemony and enslavement.
