Hezbollah: The Lebanese authorities’ surrender to the enemy’s conditions encouraged them to shed blood.
Hezbollah condemned on Saturday the “cowardly criminal attack” that targeted a Lebanese army vehicle, which resulted in the martyrdom of two officers and a soldier.
In a statement, the party affirmed that targeting the military vehicle constitutes a “deliberate and premeditated crime,” adding to the series of attacks carried out by the Israeli enemy against the Lebanese, particularly in the South and the Western Bekaa.
The party considered this attack to be “a natural result of the authorities’ disregard for the country’s sovereignty and the blood of its people,” and for offering “free concessions.”
He pointed out that “complete surrender to the enemy’s conditions in Washington” encouraged the enemy to continue its attacks and to shed the blood of Lebanese people and army personnel.
Hezbollah offered its deepest condolences to the families of the Lebanese army martyrs and to the military establishment, including its leadership, officers, and personnel, affirming its condemnation of the Israeli aggression and reiterating its support for the Lebanese army.
Hezbollah’s statement comes after the martyrdom of two officers, with the ranks of brigadier general and captain, and a soldier, on Saturday, in an Israeli attack on a military vehicle on the Kfar Tebnit-Khardali road (Nabatieh), in an escalation that adds to the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory.
