Abu Ubaida Praises the Heroic Kochav Yair Operation and Calls for Escalation of Operations Against the Enemy
The military spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, praised the “heroic operation carried out in the Kochav Yair settlement,” emphasizing that it reflects the continued resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist enemy entity.
Abu Ubaida stated that the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades “view with pride” the Palestinian people’s resistance against settlers in various areas of the occupied West Bank, commending the operations and confrontations targeting the Zionist enemy and its settlers.
Abu Ubaida called upon Palestinian youth in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the territories occupied in 1948 to play their part in the Al-Aqsa battle and to escalate their operations against the Zionist enemy and the settlers.
This comes after Israeli media reported on Sunday that one Israeli was killed and six others were wounded, some seriously, in a shooting attack carried out in several locations in and around Kochav Yair, north of Qalqilya, within the Green Line.
According to Israeli channels, the shooting took place in four different locations, including Kochav Yair, Tzur Yitzhak, Tzur Natan, and Sal’it, in the northern West Bank, resulting in the death and six injuries among the settlers.
The Israeli police announced the “neutralization” of the first attacker and the arrest of a second suspect in the Kochav Yair area. Later, Israeli media reported that both attackers had been killed.
