The blood of soldiers and civilians is being spilled under Zionist fire… and the resistance is responding with qualitative strikes that are draining the occupation forces.

In a scene reflecting the escalation of the confrontation on the Lebanese scene, the Zionist enemy continued its extensive attacks on the southern villages and towns and the western Bekaa, targeting the Lebanese army, civilians, ambulance crews and infrastructure, while the Islamic Resistance responded with a series of qualitative and simultaneous operations that targeted gatherings of soldiers, vehicles and newly established sites of the occupation, confirming the continuation of the equation of responding to Zionist violations and attacks.

The developments on the ground coincided with a wave of widespread political and national condemnations within Lebanon following the martyrdom of two officers and a soldier from the Lebanese army in an Israeli raid that targeted a military vehicle on the Kfar Tebnit-Khardali road, in a crime that political forces and official institutions considered as new evidence of the aggressive nature of the occupation and its disregard for any international understandings or resolutions.

Targeting the Lebanese army: A new crime that reveals the true nature of the enemy.
In one of the most serious attacks in recent days, Israeli warplanes targeted a Lebanese army vehicle on the Kfar Tebnit-Khardali road in the Nabatieh Governorate, resulting in the martyrdom of Brigadier General Wissam Sabra, Captain Elie Khoury, and soldier Hussein Abdel Ali Ghazal.

The Lebanese army confirmed that the attack comes as part of a series of deliberate and continuous Israeli attacks against Lebanon and its national institutions, stressing that these crimes will not deter the military institution from performing its national duty in protecting the country and maintaining stability.

The crime sparked widespread condemnation at both the official and popular levels, with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri asserting that what happened was not a mistake or a suspicion, as the occupation is trying to promote, but rather a deliberate attack and a heinous crime added to the record of Israeli crimes against Lebanon.

For his part, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam considered that targeting Lebanese soldiers is a direct attack on Lebanon and all Lebanese people, while President Joseph Aoun called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and put an end to the repeated attacks of the Israeli enemy and ensure respect for the relevant international resolutions.

Hezbollah: Concessions have encouraged the occupation to persist.
In a notable stance, Hezbollah held the Israeli enemy fully responsible for the crime, considering the attack on the Lebanese army a cowardly criminal attack and a deliberate and premeditated crime.

The party stressed that targeting the army is inseparable from the series of continuous attacks carried out by the enemy against the Lebanese in the south and the western Bekaa, considering that the state of leniency and political concessions towards American and Israeli pressures encouraged the occupation to continue its violations and the shedding of Lebanese blood.

The party stressed its full solidarity with the military establishment and the families of the martyrs, affirming that the blood of the army and the resistance has always been mixed in confronting Israeli aggression and defending Lebanon’s sovereignty and security.

In the same context, MP Jihad al-Samad, head of the National Defense, Interior and Municipalities Committee, criticized the Lebanese authorities for being preoccupied with what he described as direct negotiations and relying on understandings that did not stop the Israeli enemy’s attacks, stressing that the occupation has repeatedly proven that it does not abide by charters or agreements and that it targets the army, the resistance and civilians alike.

The Progressive Socialist Party also condemned the crime, considering it a new episode in the series of Israeli attacks on Lebanon, its legitimate institutions and national sovereignty.

Widespread airstrikes and massacres against civilians and humanitarian workers
On the ground, the Israeli enemy continued its policy of military escalation by carrying out a wide series of air raids and artillery shelling targeting dozens of areas and towns in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa Valley.

The attacks affected the towns of Kfar, Adshit, Kunin, Al-Babliya, Toul, Arab Salim, Jarjouh, Al-Shahabiya, Al-Marwaniya, Majdal Zoun, Abba, Mayfadoun, Kfar Tebnit, Al-Qatrani, and Sahmar, in addition to the areas of Harash Al-Rayhan, Wadi Barghaz, the heights of Al-Rayhan, Al-Mahmoudiya, the vicinity of Maghdoucha,
