Fadlallah: Any position that harms the unity of Lebanon or serves the enemy is unacceptable, and the current stage requires a comprehensive national responsibility to confront the aggression.

MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament, affirmed that Lebanon is facing a sensitive stage that requires the highest levels of national responsibility and internal cohesion in the face of the ongoing Zionist aggression, criticizing the positions of some political parties that deal with current developments with a sectarian and factional logic, far removed from the requirements of the supreme national interest.

Fadlallah explained, in a statement carried by the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc channel via the “Telegram” platform, that some forces in Lebanon view the current events and the repercussions of the aggression from narrow and limited angles, and do not deal with the national reality with a spirit of comprehensive responsibility towards all Lebanese, which negatively affects the country’s ability to face the current challenges.

He pointed out that some of those who hold positions of power act as if they are not concerned with the collective national responsibility, stressing that Lebanon today needs real statesmen who adhere to the constitution, the charter and the laws, and work to protect the interests of all citizens away from narrow calculations and political and sectarian divisions.

The member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc stressed that the true standard for judging political positions and decisions should be the extent to which they are consistent with the supreme national interest, stressing that any political position or behavior that leads to harming the unity of Lebanon or serves the Israeli enemy directly or indirectly is a rejected and condemned position that warrants condemnation and denunciation.

Fadlallah pointed out that the current stage requires everyone to rise to the level of the challenges facing Lebanon, especially in light of the continued Zionist attacks and the suffering they cause to civilians and the threat to security and stability, stressing that insulting the sacrifices of the Lebanese or ignoring the suffering of the Lebanese people under the weight of the aggression is unacceptable.

He stressed that confronting the Israeli enemy requires strengthening national unity and consolidating internal resilience, away from speeches and practices that incite division or weaken the home front, emphasizing that protecting the homeland and preserving its sovereignty and national unity must remain a priority that takes precedence over all other disputes and considerations.

Fadlallah concluded by emphasizing that strengthening national cohesion and unifying efforts in the face of ongoing Zionist aggression are the essential entry point for protecting Lebanon, defending the interests of its people, and preserving its stability and sovereignty.
