Gaza bleeds and the West Bank suffocates… Unrelenting Zionist aggression

While the ceasefire agreement was supposed to provide an opportunity for Palestinians to catch their breath after one of the most heinous genocides in modern times, the Zionist enemy continues its policy of killing, destruction, siege and oppression in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in a scene that confirms that the aggression has not stopped, but has taken different forms and methods targeting the Palestinian people, their land and their national identity.

Figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health reveal the extent of the humanitarian disaster caused by the ongoing Zionist aggression since October 7, 2023, with the death toll rising to 72,993 martyrs and 173,230 wounded, in one of the bloodiest and most brutal tragedies.

Ongoing genocide despite the ceasefire
Despite the ceasefire agreement, the Zionist enemy forces continue their daily violations in various areas of the Gaza Strip, through artillery and air bombardment, direct gunfire, and the demolition of homes and civilian facilities.

In recent days alone, hospitals in the sector have received new martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing crimes, while the bodies of a number of victims remain under the rubble or in the streets due to the inability of rescue and ambulance teams to reach them.

Official data indicates that 983 martyrs and 3,122 wounded have fallen since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, which reveals that the enemy entity is dealing with the truce as an opportunity to rearrange the tools of aggression and nothing more.

The West Bank under attack
In the West Bank, the policy of raids, arrests and systematic attacks continues at an escalating pace, as the cities and camps of the West Bank have turned into arenas of daily attrition for Palestinian citizens.

The incursions are no longer limited to raids and arrests, but now include the destruction of homes, the vandalism of property, the closure of roads and checkpoints, and the direct targeting of civilians, in addition to the escalation of settler attacks on villages, farms, and infrastructure.

In just one week, Palestinian institutions documented more than 1,300 violations, including hundreds of raids, arrests, demolitions and closures, reflecting a clear trend towards imposing more pressure on Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank.

Prisoners… another kind of suffering
In parallel with the field crimes, the Zionist enemy entity continues to target Palestinian prisoners inside prisons through policies of repression, isolation, starvation and deprivation, in an attempt to break their will and undermine their steadfastness.

Recent data reveals that more than 21,000 administrative detention orders have been issued since October 2023, a dangerous indication of the expanding use of detention without trial or clear charges.

Today, more than 3,400 administrative detainees are held in enemy prisons, including women and children, under deteriorating humanitarian conditions and escalating punitive measures that have affected various detention centers, most notably Ofer Prison.

Observers confirm that the policy of administrative detention has become a central tool in the Zionist system of repression, targeting activists, community leaders, and released prisoners with the aim of breaking the Palestinian will and weakening the popular support base for the resistance.

Settlers… a parallel arm
Alongside the enemy forces, settler gangs continue to carry out systematic attacks against Palestinians and their property, including stealing land, confiscating water, destroying crops, and assaulting residents.

These practices reflect the existence of actual coordination between the settlement project and the military policies of the Zionist enemy, within the framework of a strategy aimed at imposing new realities on the Palestinian land and expanding control over the occupied territories.

Failure to break the will
Despite the scale of the destruction and the enormous human losses, the Palestinian people continue to hold fast to their rights and national principles, affirming that the war of extermination and the ongoing crimes have not succeeded in breaking their will or taking away their right to freedom and dignity.

Between Gaza, which is bleeding under the weight of aggression, and the West Bank, which is facing a policy of oppression and settlement, the battle of steadfastness continues, so that Palestine remains a witness to one of the greatest epics of steadfastness and resistance in the modern era.
