Hezbollah condemns the rounds of negotiations with the enemy, describing them as obstructive.

Hezbollah issued a series of sharp statements in which it again condemned the approach of direct negotiations between the Lebanese authorities and the United States, considering this path to be “wrong in its starting point and its goal is submission and surrender,” stressing that no good can be expected from it for Lebanon.

The party stressed that rounds of direct negotiations with the Zionist enemy and what results from them constitute a “disruptive function” that hinders the confrontation of the occupation project and contradicts the efforts of the resistance field and the great sacrifices made by the Lebanese people.

In a more explicit stance, Hezbollah considered the continued presence of the Lebanese authorities in the direct negotiation sessions as an implementation of the order of the day issued by the American administration, noting that this behavior is done in isolation from the charter, the constitution and the laws, and reflects a direct response to what Washington and “Israel” are working towards in increasing the risks to Lebanon, its stability and sovereignty.

With this stance, Hezbollah is putting itself in direct confrontation with the negotiating path adopted by the Lebanese authorities, stressing that any attempt to market understandings with Washington or Tel Aviv will not lead to the protection of Lebanon, but will increase the fragility of its internal and external situation.
