Palestinian killed, another injured in Israeli shelling of Gaza Strip

A Palestinian man died on Friday from injuries sustained in an Israeli strike in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City the previous day, the Palestainain news agency WAFA reported, citing local sources.

According to the sources, Waleed Majdi Haniyeh succumbed to his wounds after being injured in an Israeli strike near the Italian Complex in Al-Nasr neighborhood.

Meanwhile, another Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire on Friday near the Al-Namsawi Cemetery area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The sources added that Israeli military vehicles opened machine-gun fire toward the eastern areas of Khan Younis, accompanied by artillery shelling.
