Iran not to let a drop of oil go through Hormuz Strait if US acts on threats

Iran’s armed forces will not allow the export of even a drop of oil through the Strait of Hormuz if the US acts of threats of attacking Iran’s infrastructure, the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters warned.

“The criminal and child-killing American rogue president has once again threatened Iran with targeting the country’s infrastructure,” the top military command said in a statement on Thursday.

“If the American threats are implemented, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow the export of even a drop of oil, and the oil, gas, electricity and economic infrastructure of the region will be targeted,” it emphasized.

The statement added that the repeated threats of the criminal America and the terrorist army of that evil country will have no result other than the spread of war in the region and even beyond it.

It also stressed that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and if a vessel is to pass through the strait, it must only travel along the designated route and according to previously announced arrangements.

On Wednesday, a military source told Tasnim that Iran will respond to an attack on every bridge or power plant by striking several infrastructures and energy facilities in the region.

Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump in social media post threatened that any time Iran attacks a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, “the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant (in Iran).”
