Iran announces the destruction of American fighter jets, helicopters, and drones during 15 days of fighting.

The spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Mohebi, announced that the Iranian armed forces, during 15 days of fighting between July 8 and 22, managed to destroy a number of American aircraft and drones inside military bases in the region.

Major General Mohebbi said that the Iranian armed forces destroyed 11 American fighter jets and helicopters on the ground while they were stationed at American bases in the region, adding that 17 reconnaissance and operational drones were also destroyed, including 8 that were brand new.

The spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard added that the operations resulted in the destruction of an F-15 fighter jet inside a fortified shelter, a P-8 aircraft, a C-17 military transport aircraft, in addition to 8 aircraft designated for refueling.
