Iranian Ambassador to Britain Hamid Baeedinejad voiced his satisfaction in the recent political talks between Tehran and London, and said that the two sides have taken crucial decisions about bringing to an end the crisis in Yemen.

“The second round of Iran-UK comprehensive political talks in London was quite frank and action oriented; the two sides agreed on certain steps which, if taken, would have effective impact on the stability of the region, specially Yemen,” Baeedinejad said in a Twitter message released on Thursday.

The Iranian ambassador reiterated that the visit of the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi to Britain for the second round of comprehensive political talks between the two countries under the current international and regional conditions is highly important.

“Given the developments of JCPOA on the one hand and significant negotiations underway between the world powers at the UN Security Council to put an end to the Yemeni crisis on the other; the two sides are trying to increase the effectiveness of collective measures through further coordination,” he added.
