Southern Scholars and Public Figures Condemn Zionist Aggression Against Iran, Affirm Support for the Resistance

Sunni scholars, along with various social figures and civil society organizations from southern provinces, have condemned the recent Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as an attack against the entire Islamic Ummah.

In a joint statement, the signatories expressed their full solidarity with Iran, commending its continued support for the Palestinian resistance — in terms of funding, arms, and political stance.

The statement emphasized that the targeting of Iranian leaders, scholars, and civilians by the Zionist entity constitutes a blatant assault on the Islamic world. It called upon Muslim nations and governments to rise above sectarian and doctrinal differences and unite against the common enemy — one that continues to commit atrocities against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza.

The statement also praised Iran’s “broad and effective strikes” deep inside Zionist territory, affirming steadfast support for the Islamic Republic and standing with it resolutely in the face of aggression.
