Death Queues in Khan Younis: A New Massacre Backed by the U.S. Amid Global Silence

4

In yet another blood-soaked chapter of Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe, the Zionist entity on Tuesday morning committed a “horrific massacre” targeting Palestinian civilians at an aid distribution point in eastern Khan Younis. The attack left more than 50 people martyred and over 200 injured, most of them women and children.

The massacre has sparked outrage across various Palestinian factions, who held both the Israeli occupation and the U.S. administration fully responsible, describing the incident as part of a systematic policy of targeting civilians in Gaza under a false humanitarian guise.

Aid Points Turned into Killing Fields
In a strongly worded statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said the aid distribution points in Gaza had been turned into “death traps under Zionist supervision and U.S. cover.”

The group stated that the shooting of civilians while they awaited aid at Al-Tahlia roundabout in Khan Younis, resulting in dozens of casualties, proves that the occupation is “weaponizing humanitarian aid to kill, starve, and humiliate” Palestinians.

Hamas called for the immediate implementation of a safe and independent international mechanism for aid distribution and urged for an urgent Arab and Islamic stance to halt the massacres and lift the blockade. The group also demanded intervention from the International Criminal Court to hold Israeli officials accountable.

U.S. Complicit in the Crime
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine also condemned the massacre, placing full responsibility on the United States for the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli regime. It argued that U.S. military and political support has effectively turned aid distribution centers into death traps for the starving.

The group emphasized that the deliberate shelling of civilians gathered in eastern Khan Younis is part of a “systematic policy of genocide” aimed at exterminating as many Palestinians as possible.

A Complete System of Genocide
Similarly, the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine declared that the “bloodbath committed against aid seekers” proves the existence of a fully-formed and deliberate genocide taking place in full view of the international community, without accountability.

Their statement also pointed to the “suspicious role” of the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which they claim is serving as a front to gather civilians under the pretense of aid—only to be targeted en masse.

The committees squarely blamed the United States and Western powers, calling for urgent international intervention to guarantee aid delivery under effective UN oversight, free from Israeli control.

Exploiting the Iran Conflict to Mask Gaza Crimes
Meanwhile, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that the Zionist regime has exploited global distraction with the ongoing U.S.–Israeli aggression against Iran to carry out this new massacre of besieged civilians in Gaza.

The PFLP accused Israel of using so-called aid organizations as tools to deceive civilians, gather them, and then eliminate them under a false humanitarian cover—labeling the pattern as part of a coordinated campaign of mass killing.

Conclusion
The Khan Younis massacre stands as yet another tragic testament to the humanitarian nightmare endured by the Palestinian people under siege and bombardment. With deafening international silence and unwavering support for the Zionist entity, the blood of innocent Palestinians continues to spill in aid queues turned killing zones.

As Palestinian factions call for urgent Arab and international action, the question remains:
When will the crimes end? And when will the killers be stripped of their impunity?
