Iran Strikes Back: Israeli Power Grid Severely Damaged

7

Iran’s latest missile strike has caused a widespread power outage across the Israeli cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon, following a direct hit on the region’s main power station.

Channel 12 (Hebrew) confirmed that the missile barrage inflicted significant damage to critical infrastructure, disrupting electricity services on a large scale.

In an official statement, the Israel Electric Corporation announced a major blackout in the southern region, citing serious damage near strategically sensitive installations.

Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen stated that approximately 8,000 subscribers in the affected areas were left without electricity due to the recent strike. He added that authorities were working to restore power within three hours.

This attack, part of Iran’s broader response to escalating Israeli threats, highlights Tehran’s capacity to strategically and precisely target the enemy’s critical infrastructure. It also reflects the growing strength of Iran’s military and its clear intent to deter any foreign aggression against its national interests.
