Death Toll from Israeli Aggression in Gaza Rises to Over 55,000 Martyrs

Since the onset of the brutal Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, the occupation forces have continued to perpetrate bloody massacres against unarmed civilians. The death toll has now climbed to 55,959 martyrs and more than 131,000 wounded, amid relentless Zionist escalation, a crippling siege, and the progressive collapse of infrastructure and essential services.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in its daily briefing that Gaza’s hospitals received 51 martyrs in the past few hours—including three bodies recovered from beneath the rubble—as well as 104 new injuries. The Ministry noted that a large number of victims remain trapped under debris or lie in streets that emergency teams cannot reach due to ongoing bombardment.

Moreover, the Ministry highlighted that, since March 18 alone, the toll has reached 5,647 martyrs and 19,201 injured—underscoring both the expanding scale of this genocide and its accelerating pace.
