Ansar Allah Political Office Warns: Zionist Recognition of Somaliland Opens the Door to Fragmentation and Poses a Direct Threat to Regional Security
In a move that exposes the nature of the Zionist project aimed at expansion and re-engineering the region in line with an agenda of domination and fragmentation, the Political Office of Ansar Allah condemned the recognition issued by the Israeli enemy entity of the Somaliland region, considering it a hostile step targeting the unity of the Somali state and the security of the region. The move, it said, represents a prelude to a new phase of destabilization in the Horn of Africa in service of U.S.–Zionist interests.
In its statement, the Political Office noted that this action amounts to nothing more than an illegitimate measure issued by an illegitimate entity, reaffirming the absence of any legal or political standing that would enable this entity to recognize or grant legitimacy to any party anywhere in the world.
The statement asserted that this recognition is not merely a political maneuver, but part of a broader geopolitical penetration project targeting the vital space of the Arab and Islamic nation, extending from the shores of the Red Sea to the core of national security in the Horn of Africa.
It emphasized that what is taking place cannot be treated as an incidental or isolated political event; rather, it must be viewed within a strategic context linked to ongoing colonial movements seeking to re-engineer the region and establish a Zionist foothold along the most critical maritime corridors tied to international trade and energy routes—posing a direct threat to the collective security of the nation, states and peoples alike.
The Political Office of Ansar Allah called on Arab and Islamic regimes to assume their responsibilities regarding this dangerous development, warning that silence would be tantamount to a green light for entrenching comprehensive Zionist violations and expanding external interventions at the expense of the unity of peoples and their right to self-determination.
The statement also stressed the necessity of unifying the efforts of the nation—at the levels of governments, peoples, and active forces—to thwart this move and stand by the Somali people, who have for years been subjected to repeated attempts at weakening, division, and external interference aimed at depriving them of stability and sovereignty over their resources and their strategically vital geographic position.
The Political Office concluded by affirming that the nation’s silence would constitute yet another loss added to the record of U.S.–Zionist fragmentation in the region, and that a serious and responsible stance must begin with awareness of the magnitude of the threat and the restoration of the principle of shared Arab and Islamic national security in confronting a project that recognizes neither borders nor sovereignty except insofar as it serves its own interests.
