Democratic Front: Zionist Aggression on Gaza Continues Despite Ceasefire Agreement

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that Zionist fascist warplanes and drones continue to hunt down Gaza’s children and women in torn tents, amid the remnants of demolished and collapsing buildings, causing new casualties every day. The only “crime” these victims committed, the statement said, was believing U.S. President Trump when he announced a halt to the war, a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the launch of his so-called “peace” project in the region.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Democratic Front added that daily massacres continue to be carried out by the Israeli fascist army in the Gaza Strip, amid a troubling silence from the United States, European Union countries, and a significant number of regional states. It noted that the grinding down of the bones of Gaza’s children and their mothers has seemingly become a routine scene—one that does not disturb governments eager to plunder the region’s wealth and exploit its resources.

The Democratic Front called on “the concerned parties among the guarantor sides—from the eight Arab and Islamic states to capitals around the world—to assume their responsibilities to halt the daily massacres committed by the Zionist enemy forces, their ongoing violation of the ‘yellow line,’ pushing it westward until its removal, and returning the Gaza Strip to the situation prior to the decision to halt the war and ceasefire, as well as the outcomes of the first phase of the ‘Trump Plan,’ which called for ‘peace’—a peace whose effects our people have yet to witness.”

The Zionist genocide in Gaza, which lasted two years and ended with a ceasefire agreement that entered into force on October 10, 2025, resulted in more than 71,000 Palestinian martyrs and over 170,000 wounded—most of them children and women. The cost of reconstruction has been estimated by the United Nations at approximately USD 70 billion.
