Martyr Zaid Ali Maslah Foundation Organizes a Cultural Seminar on the Project of the Martyr Leader
The Martyr Zaid Ali Maslah Foundation organized a cultural seminar on Tuesday focusing on the Martyr of the Qur’an, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Qur’anic Project. The seminar was held as part of the activities of the “Martyr of the Qur’an” Festival, currently taking place in Sana’a.
The seminar, which was attended by Supreme Court member Judge Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Ubad, and Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, featured several working papers.
In the first paper, presented by Yahya Abu Awadha, a member of the Executive Office of Ansar Allah, the beginnings of the Qur’anic march and the Qur’anic project of the Martyr Leader were reviewed. He noted that the project of the Martyr Leader confronted tyrants and arrogant powers and exposed American and Zionist colonial schemes aimed at dominating the Arab and Islamic world.
Abu Awadha explained that the Qur’anic Project is a comprehensive project encompassing all aspects of life with a global vision, stressing that the Martyr Leader restored the centrality of the Holy Qur’an by translating its teachings into practical reality.
In the second paper, researcher Mohammed Al-Dar addressed the methodological construction of the pillars of the Qur’anic Project, identifying its main foundations, which began with faith-based liberation. He also discussed the behavioral and legislative dimensions of the Qur’anic Project, emphasizing the importance of dealing with the Holy Qur’an as fixed and absolute truths.
For his part, Professor of History at Sana’a University, Dr. Hamoud Al-Ahnoumi, discussed in the third research paper the achievements and success of the Qur’anic Project, which transformed Qur’anic awareness into a successful movement, despair into determination, and contributed to building a generation of believers. He described the Qur’anic Project as a reference for humanity in social, economic, cultural, political, and other fields.
Meanwhile, Palestinian writer and researcher Dr. Mohammed Al-Buhaysi presented, in the fourth paper, an analysis of the Qur’anic Project in confronting the Zionist project. He pointed out that the Martyr Leader restored the status of Qur’anic reference that had been marginalized within the Islamic nation for centuries, explaining that the project combined the Qur’anic text with practical reality, moving from the Qur’an to lived experience.
In the fifth paper, writer Dr. Nour Al-Din Abu Lahia reviewed the writings (Malaazim) of Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which instill in the reader a sense of divine accountability through a strong focus on verses related to jihad, loyalty and disavowal, and the universality of the Qur’anic message in all aspects of life.
