Ministry of Foreign Affairs Warns the Zionist Enemy Entity Against Continuing Acts of Genocide in Gaza
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has warned against the continued perpetration of genocidal crimes by the Zionist enemy entity against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The latest of these is a blatant act of aggression carried out today, which targeted civilians and civilian objects, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
In a statement, the Ministry described the targeting of civilians and civilian objects by the Zionist enemy as a flagrant and egregious violation of the ceasefire agreement, as well as a breach of all international norms, conventions, and laws.
The Ministry affirmed that the Zionist aggression constitutes a dangerous escalation that undermines ongoing efforts to uphold the ceasefire, portends grave consequences for regional security and stability, and exacerbates the catastrophic humanitarian conditions endured by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
It stressed the imperative for the international community—particularly the UN Security Council—to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities and to take immediate and decisive measures to halt the Zionist aggression, ensure the protection of civilians, and guarantee safe and sustained access for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip without obstruction.
The Ministry also called on Arab and Islamic states to fulfill their moral, humanitarian, and religious responsibilities toward the Palestinian people by taking practical and serious steps to compel the Zionist enemy entity to end its aggression and lift the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, the Ministry reiterated that the United States of America is a principal partner of the Zionist entity in its crimes and ongoing aggression, bearing full legal and moral responsibility for the heinous crimes inflicted upon the Palestinian people—crimes that affront the conscience of humanity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the steadfast position of the Republic of Yemen in supporting and standing by the Palestinian people until the aggression ends, the blockade is lifted, and an independent Palestinian state is established on all Palestinian territory, with Jerusalem as its capital.
